Oh Come Ye

Oh come ye to the land of Christmas programs, parties and fun activities. We've been to Christmas parties, Christmas dinners, cookie decorating, and more. But the best things we've been to are our kids' Christmas performances at their schools. Nothing says Christmas like a bunch of 4 year olds singing "Silent Night".
And of course Christmas wouldn't be complete without hearing Sean's class sing "santa Claus is Coming To Town"

Or what about the entire first grade's rendition of a darling Christmas poem.
Matt's boss took Matt, all his coworkers and their spouses to dinner at Log Haven up Millcreek Canyon.  The dinner was delicious.  Appetizers were phenomenal and so was dessert.  Yum, I loved every minute of the most expensive meal I'll eat for another year.  The boys always try to pick out the most expensive restaurant they can find for us to dine at.  It has always worked in their favor that the food fits the price...but I wouldn't recommend this strategy in all situations.

We attended the annual Friend's Christmas Frenzy party at the Thaxton's house.  Such a fun party each year.  I love getting to be instrumental in the planning of a party and not have to worry about any of the set up or clean up from it!  Jessenia relies on me to do the coordinating of food, the invitation, and other little details which is all right up my alley.  This year I offered to be the designated driver for Matt and a couple friends.  Worked out in my favor really.  I really love when a decision I make is reinforced the next day in a message at church.  No way to secure yourself around a thought than to have it drilled in your head for an hour or so from your pastor tying all kinds of scripture in to it.  Yep, I definitely made the right choice for myself that night.

The kids have had Christmas parties, birthday parties and farewell parties almost every day for a week!!  I'm on Christmas goodies overload here and I can't just let it sit and not eat it. Which calls for not missing a single work out for me!
