Sean and I had a great time skiing sunday. We did about 15 runs with no complaining from my little guy. He is such a little ripper. For the most part we stick to long blue runs but did 1 shorter run with lots of bumps this time, called postcard. Sean totally rocked it and ended the run with a face plant & 15 ft. slide. Oops. Matt reminded me that I once did that run before we had kids and it ended with a lot of crying also. We really did have a blast, I'm so thankful for the opportunity to get to go skiing with my kids.
Something I have been wanting to write down:
Sean have a playdate a few days ago with a little girl from school. She was actually his kindergarden girlfriend, isabel. They played and had a great time. It came time to take her home and in the car on the way to her house they were talking about marriage & you know, all kinds of first grade things. As I got out of the car to let her mom know we were there sean kissed her hand and she kissed his. After leaving isabel's house sean took a few minutes to explain to gracie how to get a boy to fall in love with you. According to him "first, you be friends for a long time and then he will just love you." He went on to say, "He will fall in love with you and then he will do whatever you want." Later in the night sean came to me and said mom you are so beautiful you're the most beautiful girl in the world like Isabel W." He also told me that he loves me more than anyone else, as much as he loves God and Jesus. And isabel W. He has since asked me how old he would need to be before he could actually kiss her on the lips, the cheek, or when they could start holding hands.
Oh geez am i up for this?
