We had a super Halloween weekend and Halloween Day and Eve. Friday night the family dressed up in our usual Friday Night Attire, Vampire costumes and headed north to one of matt's coworker's homes. Yesterday I had surgery on my ankle. I, as a nervous person, was scared of the unknown. This was my first time to go under general anesthesia. The IV about made me pass out. We went back to school shoe shopping today.  The kids chose some darn cute shoes. I couldn't believe how much their feet have grown just this summer. MG turned 4 years old on Saturday. I can't belive that she's 4. Well, yes I can -- because she is. I can't believe that today, just days before I have two big events scheduled, I woke up with an extremely sore throat. I am almost sure I can remember the doctor MG saw on Tuesday telling me that the strep rash she has (on her bottom) isn't contagious & that the antibiotics would have her feeling back to normal in no time. The weather has been great here the past week, and by great I mean pretty warm. Sean told me the other day that he'd like to be a guy at the dry cleaners (so he can go back and see how the clothes get cleaned there)...He's not giving up on being a worker at the dump (so he can climb on the piles of trash)...And he still has aspirations to be a hockey player -- all when he grows up. Two weeks ago we celebrated Lucas' 6th birthday at a local rec center pool. It was a super fun birthday and I even brought along a bathing suit for Isabel to wear...though she didn't get in the pool or even near it.  She then had a big blowout while Al was holding her and I accidentally threw the poopy bathing suit in the trash with the poopy diaper and 10,000 wipes it took to clean it up.last
